Overseasidol.com — Popular Thai actresses Lingling Kwong and Orm Kornnaphat are gearing up for the highly anticipated premiere of their new drama “Only You”, set to air this July.
However, instead of celebrating their upcoming project, the actresses are currently grappling with serious harassment from obsessive fans, commonly referred to as “sasaeng fans.”
On June 10, their management and legal representatives filed a formal complaint at the Center for the Protection of Children and Women, revealing that both actresses have been subjected to prolonged and invasive stalking behavior.
The disturbing incidents include fans sneaking into their apartment complex, tracking flight information to sit nearby, taking unauthorized photos of their private vehicles, and even bribing personal drivers for insider information.
Additionally, false rumors and personal data have been spread via fan group chats, and family members and managers have also been targeted.
According to their lawyer, these acts have caused severe psychological stress for both actresses and significantly disrupted their professional lives.
Following an initial investigation, police have already identified five primary suspects, including several foreign fans. Authorities have also collected digital evidence of group coordination to stalk the stars.
Police have confirmed the actions are unlawful, warning those involved to cease all stalking and harassment immediately, or face legal prosecution.
