Overseasidol.com — Thai drama “Only You The Series” will be aired today, 18 January on Channel 3.
To build excitement, Channel 3 is airing a special program titled “Only You Special”, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of this romantic drama.
The special features director Nay Saratswadee, bodyguard lead Lingling, and top idol Orm Kornnaphat.
This drama also joined by Marilyn Kate as the flight attendant best friend, along with the bodyguard team played by Mae Nisachon, Smith Paswitch, and Nene Thanchanok.
According to the director, the series draws inspiration from real-life moments between Ling and Orm.
Lingling is often seen protecting Om during public appearances, which became the basis for the bodyguard character.
Orm’s idol persona was inspired by her love of dancing on set, where her joy was evident.
In the interview, Ling and Om opened up about the challenges of portraying Tawan, a disciplined bodyguard, and Ira, a lively top idol.
They underwent extensive preparation to bring their roles to life.
Lingling, taking on action scenes for the first time, trained in weapon handling and combat choreography.
Though hesitant at first due to her dislike of violence, she eventually delivered powerful kicks and punches during filming.
Orm, on the other hand, underwent rigorous dance training to convincingly embody a top idol.
Her dedication earned high praise from Ling, who openly admired her effort.
Fellow cast members Kate, May, Smith, and Nene also joined the fun, teasing about the sweet chemistry between Ling and Om that made the set “feel hotter” for everyone else.
