Music Awards Japan 2026 Reveals Nominees Ahead of Star-Studded Global Ceremony

Overseasidol.com — The prestigious MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026 (MAJ 2026) has officially unveiled its list of nominees.

This event is the largest international music award ceremonies in Japan.

The event is scheduled to take place on June 13 at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO and SGC Hall Ariake in Tokyo.

According to the organizers, nominations have been finalized across a total of 63 categories, including six major award segments that will headline the ceremony.

This extensive lineup highlights the масштаб and diversity of the awards, reinforcing its reputation as a major platform for recognizing musical excellence across Asia and beyond.

The Grand Ceremony, where the main awards will be presented, will be broadcast live on NHK.

Prior to the main event, a red carpet segment featuring top artists will air on NHK BS.

Meanwhile, the Premiere Ceremony, which honors winners in non-major categories, will be broadcast via TOKYO MX from SGC Hall Ariake.

Expanding its global reach, MAJ 2026 will also be streamed worldwide through YouTube, the event’s global project partner, with some regional restrictions.

Additional live streaming options will be available via NTT Docomo’s Lemino service, as well as ABEMA and radiko.
