Overseasidol.com — Japanese idol group Nogizaka46 has announced the release of their long-awaited fifth original album, titled “My respect”.
The album is set to be released on January 14, 2026, marking their first original album in about seven years.
The news was revealed during the group’s special livestream “Nogizaka Koujichuu 10th Anniversary Broadcast” on their official YouTube channel Nogizaka Streaming Now.
The announcement was made by the group’s captain, Minami Umezawa, as part of a “major news” segment.
To commemorate the album release, Nogizaka46 will hold a special concert titled “Nogizaka46 5th ALBUM MEMORIAL LIVE ‘My respect’” on February 22 and 23, 2026, at Ariake Arena in Tokyo.
The live show will focus on songs featured in the new album and promises an emotional, celebratory atmosphere.
Fans who pre-order the album through YouTube Shopping’s store cart or are Nogizaka46 Mobile members can apply for the earliest round of ticket reservations.
“My respect” will be released in five versions a Complete Limited Edition, Type-A to Type-C, and a Regular Edition.
The complete edition will include every track from the group’s 29th single “Actually…” up to the latest releases, along with songs performed by the 3rd to 5th generation members on Disc 2.
This new album follows their 2019 release “Ima ga Omoide ni Naru Made,” making it the first full album in nearly seven years.
