Thai boy group PROXIE under bROTHERS MUSIC has officially released its latest single, “Boys Don’t Cry”.
The group had been teasing the release through live performances at GOTCHA POP 4 and MOVE ON Concert, where they previewed parts of the song and choreography.
Concept photos and music video teasers also fueled excitement ahead of the official launch.
Blending pop melodies with heartfelt lyrics, “Boys Don’t Cry” tells the story of someone struggling to accept being the second choice in a relationship.
The song explores feelings of heartbreak, disappointment, and self-comfort after an emotional setback.
While maintaining PROXIE’s signature style, the track introduces a fresh musical direction that reflects the emotions and experiences of today’s Gen Z listeners.
The song was written by 2Ectasy, Jeffy, and Kakagoesbackhome, with archiesarchiesarchies serving as producer.
Dr. Orapan Bowornwattana returned as Executive Producer. The music video adds another layer to the storytelling.
PROXIE member Shogun played an active role in developing the MV concept, which follows a group of boys attending an all-male school.
Each character faces different challenges, including relationship struggles, family issues, and substance abuse. (Overseasidol.com)
