Overseasidol.com — The six-member idol group Qumali Depart, under Ekoms Inc., will release their first single in the new lineup, titled “Ai Eye Catch”, on September 23, 2025.
At their one-man live show “Shinsou Kaiten! Shin Kumari Department” held on July 20 at Spotify O-WEST in Tokyo, three new members were introduced.
Mizuki Aoi (blue), Shion Momo (pink), and Rin Suzune (yellow) joined the group, marking the beginning of a new chapter. This single is their first release in the refreshed system.
The lead track “Ai Eye Catch,” already available on streaming services, is a collaboration between Kenta Sakurai and Tamaya 2060% of Wienners, following their previous work “Blue Survivor”.
The song is catchy and sharp, instantly grabbing listeners’ hearts while leaving a lasting pop impression.
The single also includes “Kienai Natsu,” a summer anthem co-written by Sayshine and Kenta Sakurai, released earlier this summer.
The track depicts a fleeting yet beautiful summer in a refreshing way. Its choreography features a cute, easy-to-follow move.
Fans can draw the “Qu” of Qumali with a pinky finger, then shape a heart in the air.
In addition, a renewed version of the group’s self-introduction song “Shin Ququququmali Depart” is also included.
