Domundi TV officially announced an anime adaptation of their hit series Khemjira The Series during the DMD LINEUP 2026 (18/06).
Khemjira The Animation stole the spotlight as it marks Domundi’s very first animation project, expanding the Khemjira universe from novel to live-action series and now to anime.
The story of Khemjira follows a young man named Khem (Khemjira) born into a cursed family where every male descendant is destined to die before turning 21.
His mother gave him a feminine name meaning “forever safe” to protect him. As his 21st birthday approaches, vengeful spirits begin to close in.
Khem seeks help from a powerful but reluctant spiritual master named Pharan (also known as Peem).
Amid supernatural horror, ancient Thai rituals, and emotional struggles against fate, a deep romance blossoms between them.
The lead actors from the live-action series, Keng Harit (as Pharan/Peem) and Namping Napatsakorn (as Khem), will reprise their roles as voice actors. (Overseasidol.com)
