Among them is the well-known Straw Bear Pictures. In contrast, Wu Qilong is linked to only two active businesses.
Interestingly, the pair once co-owned Jiangsu Straw Bear Culture Media, but the company was dissolved in 2016.
Moreover, in February 2024, Liu Shishi officially withdrew her 5% stake in Jiangsu Xizi Investment, with Wu Qilong taking over the exact share — a move that indicates the complete detachment of their professional and financial interests.
Liu and Wu, once considered one of China’s most admired celebrity couples, met on the set of the 2011 historical drama “Scarlet Heart”.
Their on-screen chemistry blossomed into a real-life romance, and by November 13, 2013, Wu Qilong confirmed their relationship. The couple registered their marriage in January 2015 and held a lavish wedding ceremony in Bali in March 2016.
In December 2018, Wu shared the joyful news of Liu’s pregnancy. Their son was born in April 2019, with Liu posting affectionately about their “adorable little one.”
