Overseasidol.com — Sakurazaka46 has officially revealed the senbatsu lineup for their 13th single, “Unhappy Birthday Koumon”.
The announcement was made on October 5, 2025, during TV Tokyo’s variety show “Soko Magattara, Sakurazaka?”.
For the first time, 21-year-old Murai Yuu will serve as the center of the title track.
In her statement, Murai expressed both determination and nervousness.
She shared that her biggest motivation is to let more people discover the charm of Sakurazaka46 through this single.
She also hopes that the entire group can deliver a new and captivating side of themselves to fans.
Born in Tokyo in 2004, Murai Yuu played basketball during junior high and joined the dance club in high school.
She officially became part of Sakurazaka46 in January 2023 as a third-generation member.
Murai Yuu stands in the front row as the center, with members such as Yamasaki Ten, Tamura Hono, Endo Riko, Fujiyoshi Karin, and others surrounding her.
