He stated that he will fully cooperate with prosecutors and humbly accept the investigation and legal process.
In his statement, Xiu expressed deep remorse for his past mistake. He apologized to his family for the shock and worry he had caused them.
“As a husband and father, I feel deeply guilty and ashamed,” he wrote.
He also acknowledged that, as a public figure, his words and actions carry social influence.
He apologized for setting a poor example and emphasized that military service is a civic duty.
