Overseasidol.com — Thai actor Great Warintorn recently opened up about his views on gold investment and his thoughts on wedding dowry during a media interview.
Often referred to as the “son of a gold shop”, Great revealed that he personally buys gold as a form of collection and investment.
He admitted that it feels rewarding when prices rise soon after a purchase, but he has also experienced being “stuck” when the market drops.
Despite short-term anxiety, he believes investors should remain patient, as prices will eventually recover.
Great also shared his personal opinion that many other types of businesses can be more profitable than running a gold shop.
He explained that his family’s store is located outside a major city, making it challenging to sell gold jewelry.
In some cases, his mother has to put in significant effort to convince customers to make a purchase, while profit margins per item remain relatively small.
When asked about wedding dowry, Great Warintorn responded lightheartedly that he is unsure how much his future partner might request.
However, he emphasized that if he truly decides to get married, he would not hesitate to provide a generous dowry.
Jokingly, he suggested that serious negotiations should be directed to his mother, as he feels he does not have much savings of his own at the moment.
