Overseasidol.com — On November 26, Zhang Liang’s studio released an official statement addressing a wave of false information circulating online about the actor and his son, Zhang Yuexuan (widely known as “Tian Tian”).

The studio emphasized that the rumors spread across social media were entirely fabricated and had seriously harmed the family’s reputation and legal rights.

Zhang Liang later issued his own public response, confirming that the case had already been reported to the authorities.

“The police have officially taken the case! The internet is not outside the law stop spreading baseless rumors!” he wrote.

Zhang Liang, born Zhang Zhensuo on March 26, 1982, in Beijing, is a well-known Chinese actor and model who gained popularity through his work in television, film, and fashion.

The controversy intensified on November 27 after an anonymous post claimed that “the son of a celebrity who sells malatang frequently caused trouble in China and was sent abroad, where he allegedly got a classmate pregnant”.

Some users speculated that the post referred to Zhang Liang and his son.

In response, Zhang reiterated that the allegations were completely unfounded and that the matter was now under police investigation.

He urged the public not to believe or spread unverified information.

His studio also stated that they will pursue legal action against individuals responsible for creating or disseminating defamatory content, underscoring their determination to safeguard the rights and reputation of Zhang Liang and his family.
