Zheng firmly declared that the allegations were false and stated he was willing to take full legal responsibility for every word he said.
Zheng detailed the incident that has sparked public debate.
According to him, at the time, Zi Yu had returned to his hometown for personal reasons, and during his absence, the group continued rehearsals for a new song, keeping his spot open.
However, on the day before the music video shoot, Zi Yu requested the center position, which was denied.
During rehearsal, Zi Yu stood at the center spot, refusing to move or cooperate, prompting Zheng to step in to correct his position.
The situation escalated into minor physical contact, but the two were quickly separated by teammates.
Both sustained minor scratches. Zheng Xingyuan emphasized that he apologized to Zi Yu the following day for the sake of team unity.
