“Even when he feels weak, he still says he’s fine. This is my son, Fourth. Stay strong!,” she wrote.
On September 8, Fourth developed a high fever and was taken to the hospital.
Later that evening, doctors confirmed that he had contracted influenza A.
His agency GMMTV released an official statement on social media.
“Since Fourth’s health has not fully recovered, he will follow medical advice and take a break.
All work schedules will be postponed until he is well again. We sincerely thank fans for their love and support,” management said.
The announcement has worried many fans, who quickly flooded social media with messages wishing him a speedy recovery.
