According to a video shared on the film’s official Weibo account, the production team introduced a “flexible release schedule” because post-production work is still ongoing.
Chow addressed the situation with his trademark sense of humor, saying he is doing his best to meet the July 10 deadline.
If the film is not ready in time, it will instead be released on July 17.
