The individual acknowledged their wrongdoing, accepted legal responsibility, and promised not to publish similar remarks in the future.
According to an earlier statement from Yuehua Entertainment regarding reputation protection cases, the user had previously spread several insulting and defamatory comments about Wang Yibo, accompanied by misleading images.
The posts were considered harmful and suspected of violating Wang Yibo’s legal rights.
Business records also show that Wang Yibo’s ongoing online infringement dispute with another individual, surnamed Zhou, is scheduled to be heard in court this December.
