Overseasidol.com — A special collaboration between AKB48 and Wendy’s First Kitchen has been officially announced and will begin on December 2, 2025.
This limited-time event will be held at five selected stores across Japan.
Fans will be able to enjoy exclusive food and drinks inspired by AKB48, along with special in-store decorations.
The collaboration uses brand-new visuals of AKB48 members wearing Wendy’s original outfits as well as the iconic “Iiwake Maybe” costumes.
These photos appear on various exclusive goods, available only during the campaign.
One of the highlights is the Collaboration Flavor Potato, featuring a unique Japanese-style dashi seasoning.
It is sold as a set for 780 yen, and each purchase includes one random A4 clear file from a collection of 20 designs.
Each file features different AKB48 members dressed in blue-and-white themed costumes.
The collaboration also introduces a full food and drink menu.
Items include a vegetable-rich chicken burger supervised by members Yui Oguri and Mizuki Yamauchi, and a cheese mentaiko pasta selected by Miu Chiba and Karen Hata.
Drinks include peach milk tapioca, chocolate latte, and strawberry cider, each represented by different AKB48 members.
During the event, the interior of participating Wendy’s First Kitchen stores will be decorated entirely with AKB48 themes.
Fans will be welcomed by displays, posters, and visuals that create a fully immersive AKB48 experience.
This collaboration promises to offer a fun and exclusive environment for fans to enjoy both the menu and the atmosphere.
