Overseasidol.com — Chinese actor Xie Mengwei, has released a new video saying, “I’m back,” following his administrative detention for wearing a police uniform during a livestream.
His account on Kuaishou remains banned, and he has reportedly lost over 63,000 followers.
In the video, Xie issued a sincere public apology, saying he has suspended all livestream sales activities.
He also revealed that his company employees have returned to their hometowns, and future operations will be temporarily halted.
However, legal troubles continue to surround the actor. According to Qichacha, Xie recently received two new enforcement orders.
The first was issued by the Xinshao County People’s Court in Shaoyang, Hunan Province, involving 2.1 million yuan.
The second, from the Daxing District People’s Court in Beijing, restored a 5 million yuan enforcement case against Xie, his wife Guo Shanshan, and others.
In addition, previous records show that Xie had been subject to enforcement by the Hualong District People’s Court in Puyang, Henan, involving 5.24 million yuan, and another 1.71 million yuan case from the Guancheng Hui District People’s Court in Zhengzhou, related to private lending disputes.
Xie was also restricted from high consumption activities as a result.
