Overseasidol.com — On September 11, the official studio confirmed that actor Yu Menglong passed away after falling from a building. Police have ruled out any criminal suspicion in the case.
According to Yangtze Evening News, the incident took place at the Sunshine Upper East residential compound in Beijing’s Chaoyang District.
When reporters arrived in the afternoon, the ground had already been cleaned, with no barricades left in place.
From below, the damaged window screen of the apartment could still be seen. Reporters noted that the glass window could be opened easily, but the outer screen was not as simple to remove.
An elderly resident recounted that her friend, who was walking a dog around 6 a.m., first noticed the body because the dog reacted to the smell of blood.
A young man was found lying on the ground with blood around him. Someone later came down, covered the victim’s face with clothing, and said it was his friend.
Security guards then called emergency services, and the area was sealed until around 9 a.m.
The elderly woman later realized it was Yu Menglong after seeing the news. She mentioned she had seen him before in the community taking photos with friends.
“He was such a handsome young man, and the boys and girls with him were all very good-looking,” she said.
