Overseasidol.com — On 17 July, This afternoon, the 19th FIRST Youth Film Festival officially announced its main competition jury lineup.
French cinema icon Isabelle Huppert will serve as the Jury President. She will be joined by Chinese film industry figures Song Xiaojie, Wen Muye, Xu Yuezheng, Zhao Xiaoding, and popular actor-singer Jackson Yee.
The news has excited many fans, especially noting that Jackson Yee has previously collaborated with jury members.
He worked with director Wen Muye on Nice View and with producer Xu Yuezheng on Better Days.
Jackson Yee has shown long-term support for the festival. In 2020, during the 14th FIRST Youth Film Festival, he was featured as a key guest.
Actor Huang Bo once revealed that Yee even paid for his own attendance and donated 150,000 yuan to support the festival’s documentary lab.
