A young lion dance performer from Handan, Hebei, has gone viral on social media after many netizens noticed his striking resemblance to Chinese actor Jackson Yee.
The performer, identified as Wang Ying’ao, gained widespread attention after a video showed him removing his lion dance headgear following a performance.
His sweat-soaked appearance quickly captured viewers’ attention, earning him the nickname “the lion dance world’s Jackson Yee”.

Wang first discovered lion dancing during his university years when he joined the Handan Jingwu Dragon and Lion Troupe.
Under the guidance of coach Yuan Jingfei, he received professional training and eventually became a full-time performer after graduation.
