Overseasidol.com — The upcoming Japanese drama “Anata wa Korosu Tabi” (The Trip to Kill You) will premiere in September.
The series is a live-action adaptation of the manga by Asai Nishi, well-known among BL fans.
For the first time in Japan, the popular theme of Yakuza × BL will be portrayed in a drama.
Actor Wada Masanari stars as Kataoka Kinji, a young yakuza boss admired by his men.
Co-starring is Takahashi Hiroto, who plays Odashima Ren, a member forced to go on the run with Kataoka after a violent incident.
The cast also includes Yuya Shintaro as Kirii Keito, Hori Kaito as Asahi Miho, Teranaka Keisuke as Kumakura Genichiro, Kudo Shunsaku as Kirii Seizo, and Ozawa Maju as Kirii Kyoka.
The story begins when Odashima receives an order to kill Kataoka from the son of the clan leader.
Yet during their journey together, he starts to feel drawn to Kataoka’s warmth and strength.
Kataoka, in return, becomes intrigued by Odashima’s hidden sides. Their bond slowly deepens as they face danger and emotions.
The drama “Anata wa Korosu Tabi” promises an emotional tale of love, conflict, and destiny between two men in the world of Yakuza.
