Overseasidol.com — Japanese entertainment fans were surprised on February 10 by reports that actor Kamio Fūju and former Keyakizaka46 ace Hirate Yurina are set to get married.

According to sources, the couple plans to officially register their marriage on February 11, an auspicious day in the Japanese calendar.

The news quickly gained attention as their relationship had never been made public.

Kamio, often referred to as a “national treasure-level handsome actor” and Hirate, the former absolute center of Keyakizaka46, are said to have quietly built their relationship away from the spotlight.

Industry insiders reveal that the two met through mutual acquaintances and bonded over shared experiences.

Although the exact length of their relationship remains unknown, they have reportedly already informed close friends and family about their decision to marry.

Both Kamio and Hirate share similar backgrounds. Kamio was passionate about soccer from a young age, while Hirate played basketball during her middle school years.

Eventually, both decided to pursue careers in the entertainment industry in search of new passions.

Notably, they both began their professional journeys in 2015, a coincidence that may have strengthened their connection.

Kamio made his acting debut in 2015 through the Nippon TV drama special “Kaa-san, Ore wa Daijoubu”.

He gained widespread recognition after starring in the 2019 drama “Hidarikiki no Eren”.

Hirate Yurina, on the other hand, rose to fame as an original member of Keyakizaka46 in 2015.

She served as the center for all eight of the group’s singles, beginning with their powerful debut song “Silent Majority”.

Known for her intense and immersive performance style, she stood out as a charismatic figure distinct from traditional idols.

Beyond music, Hirate built a successful acting career with projects including the film “Hibiki” and hit dramas such as “Dragon Zakura”, “Roppongi Class” and “Uchi no Bengoshi wa Te ga Kakaru”.

After leaving Keyakizaka46 in January 2020, Hirate continued her career as a solo artist and actress.
