Chinese sci-fi comedy film Keep Real officially premiered in mainland China on July 3, 2026, following its special preview screenings in 72 cities on June 27–28.
The film is directed and written by Xing Wenxiong and stars Bai Jingting, Wei Xiang, Zhang Guoqiang, Zhao Haiyan, and Su Xiaoding.
The story follows Wang Changhai, a superhero who defeated an alien invasion three decades ago.
Years later, he is assigned to return to his hometown of Laiyin Town to build a new superhero team.
Instead of fighting villains, Wang Changhai finds himself dealing with local politics, complicated relationships, and unexpected challenges.
