Overseasidol.com — After eight years together, Thai celebrity couple Mai Davika Hoorne and Ter Chantavit have confirmed that their wedding will still take place later this year.
Despite recent speculation about a possible delay, the couple reassured fans that the ceremony will go ahead as originally planned, though in a smaller and more private format.
Back in June, Ter romantically proposed to Mai with a 15-carat diamond ring, a moment that captured the hearts of many fans.
While the two had always hinted that their wedding would happen this year, recent circumstances led some to wonder if the plans might change.
In a new interview, both Mai and Ter explained that postponing the wedding isn’t an option because preparations have been ongoing for a long time.
“Everything has been arranged,” Mai shared. “We’ve already chosen the wedding dress overseas, paid deposits, and invited some international guests. Delaying it would make things much more complicated,”.
Instead of a grand celebration, the couple decided to host an intimate ceremony with only a few dozen guests.
“We just want it to be meaningful and comfortable for everyone,” Mai said, emphasizing that they will respect whether guests are able to attend or not.
When asked about the exact wedding date, the couple smiled and hinted that it would happen by the end of this year, playfully holding up two fingers to let fans guess.
“We can’t wait anymore,” Ter admitted with a laugh. “We’re ready to start our new life together,”.
