Overseasidol.com — On November 1, Taiwanese artist Meigo (Guoguo) released another statement addressing the controversy surrounding her alleged affair with Prince Chiu.
In her post, Meigo admitted that she had “crossed the line” with Prince and issued a public apology to her estranged husband Zack Fanchiang.
“I still want to publicly apologize to you here,” she wrote. “My mistake caused you great pain. I lacked the courage to end our relationship sooner. Just like during our divorce mediation, I’ve always known that this was something I didn’t handle well,”.
Alongside her written statement, Meigo shared a screenshot of her earlier apology, in which she expressed regret over the public attention the issue has caused.
“I want to apologize to those who cared about us for staying silent. I also regret that my private matters have occupied public resources.
I won’t avoid the mistakes I made. I just want to give a complete explanation of my experience and why our marriage came to this point.
I respect everyone’s understanding and feelings,”.
Meanwhile, on October 31, Fan Jiang Yenfeng released a statement through his lawyer, reaffirming that all his previous claims were supported by solid evidence.
He also emphasized that any claims suggesting “no family destruction” or “just a boundary-crossing friendship” were inconsistent with the facts and would be addressed in court.
This ongoing controversy continues to dominate online discussions, with both parties now offering conflicting statements while legal proceedings are expected to follow.
