Overseasidol.com — Meteor Garden producer Angie Chai Chih-Ping recently shared her thoughts on Ken Chu and the long-standing dynamics within the iconic group F4 during an interview.
Chai revealed that she has known Zhu since 2001 and believes his personality has remained largely unchanged over the years.
According to Chai, Ken is not a calculating or worldly person, but rather someone sincere, straightforward, and occasionally impulsive.
She described him as a “big kid” who tends to act on emotion rather than careful consideration, which is why recent controversies surrounding him did not come as a surprise to her.
Chai also addressed an incident in which Ken reportedly accepted an invitation to appear at an event, but later discussed F4’s shared schedules during a livestream.
She noted that such behavior could be seen as disrespectful to the event organizer and the other three F4 members. However, she added that this was consistent with Zhu’s long-standing personality.
Addressing speculation about a potential F4 reunion, Angie Chai emphasized that financial issues were never the main obstacle.
Based on her deep understanding of all four members, she stated that the real challenge lies in the lack of a shared vision, common goals, and unified direction that could move the group forward together.
Her remarks have once again sparked public discussion about F4’s future and the complex personal dynamics behind one of Asia’s most legendary boy bands.
