Overseasidol.com — SNH48 GROUP, has officially announced the commencement of the 2025 SNH48 GROUP 12th General Election, set to begin on May 31.
The festival will culminate in a large-scale awards ceremony and concert on August 2 at the AsiaWorld-Expo Arena in Hong Kong.
This year’s event is proudly headlined by AI-Audition “Dancing Parot”, the world’s first large-scale AI idol simulation and training game.
More than 200 members from the five sister groups, SNH48 (Shanghai), GNZ48 (Guangzhou), BEJ48 (Beijing), CKG48 (Chongqing), and CGT48 (Chengdu) will unite to set a new standard in Asia’s pop culture scene.
With the slogan “Let Youth Bloom Worldwide”, the festival represents SNH48 GROUP’s leap into the global spotlight.
Voting for the awards will run from May 31 at 10:00 AM to August 2 at 6:00 PM, using score cards provided with the group’s new summer EP Bye Bad Bye.
Awards include “Annual Peak Popularity Queen”, “Senbatsu Girls”, “Under Girls” and “Next Girls” with benefits such as solo EP production, custom MVs, personal management teams, and even dedicated artist studios for top-tier winners.
Rookies and regional team members will also have their moment to shine, with special stages, progressive nomination announcements, and high-level industry support designed to elevate their careers and connect fans to the ever-expanding world of SNH48 GROUP.
