The news comes just a month after he experienced inflammation in his left vocal cord, which forced doctors to order him to refrain from using his voice including singing, shouting, or talking too much.
On October 13, Bas shared a photo of his wrist with an IV drip on social media, confirming his hospitalization.
Doctors have advised him to rest and stay in medical care from October 13 to 17, as he is still in a contagious stage of the illness.
His agency has officially canceled all scheduled appearances, including his participation in Siam Discovery BIFW 2025 on October 14 and the Friends of SEA Games 2025 press conference on October 15.
The company stated that Bas will resume work only after making a full recovery.
