Overseasidol.com — Thai actress Punpun Sutatta has openly shared her personal experience with egg freezing as she turned 28.
She explained that the decision was part of her preparation for future motherhood, even jokingly calling herself a “super strong hen”.
During a Q&A with fans, Punpun described the entire process in detail.
She admitted that while taking ovulation-suppressing and stimulating injections, her emotions became more sensitive and she often felt like crying.
The most painful part, she revealed, was having to inject herself at home, especially the trigger shot, which brought her to tears.
In the end, Punpun successfully retrieved 72 eggs, with 64 of them in good condition and safely frozen. Laughing, she called herself the “ultimate hen in action”.
She also shared that the procedure cost her around 200,000 baht (about 40,000 RMB), which already included two years of storage. Additional yearly fees will be required afterward.
As for why she chose this timing, Punpun explained that she does not plan to have children yet but wanted to be prepared.
She revealed that she has PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), which can make pregnancy more difficult.
Freezing her eggs now, she said, ensures that she has an alternative option for the future.
