The series is considered one of the most awaited productions of the year, offering a powerful storyline that blends romance, friendship, and deep emotional struggles.

The Bangkok Red Opera tells the story of Mala and Soi, two renowned traditional dancers celebrated for their beauty and talent.

Their strong bond as close friends has been admired by many, and their fame reaches influential figures, including a nobleman returning from abroad and a determined young military officer.

Behind their seemingly perfect friendship, however, lies a hidden emotional shift.

Soi begins to develop feelings for Mala that go beyond friendship, leading to tension and heartbreak. Misunderstandings and emotional wounds gradually tear their relationship apart.

Set against a backdrop of societal transformation, the story reflects how love, loyalty, and personal choices can shape one’s destiny.

As circumstances evolve, the characters must face difficult decisions that could either heal their bond or leave lasting regrets.

The drama features a strong cast, including Earnearn Fatima as Mala and Mabelz Suchada  as Soi, alongside top performers Kem Hussawee, Krating Khunnarong, Mam Kathaleeya, Mew Lalita.

The Bangkok Red Opera airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 8:30 PM on One31 and is also available for streaming via the oneD application.
