Overseasidol.com — Thailand’s movie industry is gearing up to introduce an ambitious new action movie titled God Skin.

Produced by Jungka Studio and M Studio, the film is positioned as a major project aiming to capture both domestic and international audiences.

The story follows Win, a young delivery worker struggling to earn money for his critically ill mother’s treatment.

His life takes a dramatic turn when he is drawn into an underground fighting arena, where fighters are marked by mysterious tattoos known as “God Skin”, symbolizing their power and identity.

The film is expected to showcase intense martial arts sequences reminiscent of Thailand’s iconic action movie Ong Bak.

Industry observers note that God Skin could revive global interest in Thailand’s signature action genre, known for its raw and dynamic fight choreography.

The cast includes Gee Sutthirak, Minnie Phantira, and Jaii Itkron.

The film is directed by Pawin Purijitpanya, who is recognized for his visually striking storytelling and creative direction in both films and series.

God Skin is scheduled for theatrical release in Thailand on August 27, 2026.

Ahead of its release, the film will be showcased at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2026, specifically in the Marché du Film, held in France from May 12 to May 23, 2026.
