Previously reported by Variety during Hong Kong’s FilMart, the project has already gained attention as a promising addition to Thailand’s horror genre.

The story centers on a Thai mother who travels abroad to search for her missing 18-year-old daughter, who disappeared while participating in an exchange program in Canada.

As she investigates further, she uncovers disturbing secrets surrounding her daughter’s host family.

The situation escalates when she begins to suspect that a supernatural force may have taken control of her daughter.

The film blends emotional storytelling with psychological horror, creating a gripping narrative.

The cast features well-known actress Noon Siraphan, Denise Jelilcha and actor Gee Sutthirak, who continues to gain recognition in the industry.

Directed by Chatchai Hongsirikul, known for his work on The Package, the film is expected to deliver a tense and immersive horror experience.

Scheduled for theatrical release on November 5, 2026, Exchange will first be introduced at the Marché du Film during the Cannes Film Festival in France from May 12 to May 23, 2026.
