Overseasidol.com — Thai idol group CGM48 has released their first-ever special single titled “Kaze Wo Matsu – Memories in the Wind”.
The song is a Thai version of “Kaze wo Matsu”, originally performed by Japanese sister group STU48 and released in 2019.
This special version serves as the official graduation song for CGM48’s first generation members.
Ping was chosen as the center of the single through an internal vote among fellow 1st-gen members. Ping also contributed to writing part of the song’s lyrics.
All 17 members of CGM48’s first generation including Angel, Champoo, Kaiwan, Kaning, Kyla, Latin, Marmink, Nenie, Pim, Ping, Punch, Sita, Fahsai, Jjae, Meen, Mei, and Nena.
They will continue their group activities until the end of August 2025.
This marks the official closure of CGM48’s first generation era.
The release of this single is both an emotional farewell and a celebration of unity within the group.
Allowing the members to vote for the center and contribute creatively shows CGM48’s strong bond and collaborative spirit.
