Chen highlighted the show’s positive role in fostering cultural exchange between mainland China and Taiwan.

He noted that since its early seasons, the program has consistently featured Taiwanese artists, allowing performers from both sides to share the stage and collaborate creatively.

He added that such interactions go beyond entertainment, helping to evoke shared memories among viewers.

As an example, he referenced the surge of nostalgia sparked by Cyndi Wang during a previous season, which resonated strongly with audiences.

The spokesperson also encouraged more Taiwanese artists to participate in cultural and entertainment activities in mainland China.

He also expressing support for the current season’s Taiwanese contestants and wishing them success in the competition.

Offstage moments have also captured public interest, particularly the cultural exchanges among participants.

Taiwanese singers Christine Fan, Pets Tseng, and Jessie Chiang were seen enjoying local Hunan cuisine during filming.

One notable moment involved Pets Tseng bringing a variety of Hunan-style spicy duck dishes from cities like Changsha and Zhuzhou backstage, sharing them with fellow contestants.
