Overseasidol.com — Renowned Hong Kong director Wong Jing has publicly spoken out against recent shocking allegations made by Stephen Shiu about action superstar Jackie Chan.
In a strong statement shared online, Wong Jing condemned the remarks as false, malicious, and defamatory, calling them an attack on Jackie Chan’s character.
“I’ve known Jackie for many years,” Wong Jing wrote. “Yes, he’s a charming and romantic man, but he’s definitely not vulgar or immoral,”.
The director explained that many women have willingly approached Jackie Chan over the years, and that he never needed to engage in the kind of inappropriate acts being rumored.
The controversy began when Shiu accused Jackie Chan of committing indecent acts in a desert and exposing himself in a car claims that quickly drew outrage and disbelief.
Wong Jing hit back, saying the accusations were completely unfounded, and criticized Stephen for using the names of deceased individuals to justify his stories.
“It’s despicable to use people who can no longer defend themselves as so-called evidence,” Wong Jing stated firmly.
Following Wong Jing’s post, many fans and colleagues voiced their support, praising him for standing up for Jackie Chan and denouncing the spread of baseless rumors.
