Chinese historical romance drama The First Jasmine, starring Bai Lu and Cheng Lei, continues to attract attention from viewers.
Amid the drama’s growing popularity, actor Lin Muran recently shared his experience working with Bai Lu and revealed how different she is from the character she portrays on screen.
In a recent interview, Lin Muran admitted that his first impression of Bai Lu was that she seemed cold and distant.
The perception came largely from her portrayal of Ye Li, a calm and reserved character in The First Jasmine, whose strong and composed personality left a lasting impression.
However, after spending time together on set, Lin Muran quickly realized that Bai Lu’s real personality was completely different.
He described her as warm, friendly, and full of humor.
According to him, Bai Lu often brought snacks to share with cast members and production staff, creating a positive atmosphere during filming.
Lin Muran also praised Bai Lu’s professionalism. He noted that she could effortlessly switch between her character and her real self.
Once filming began, she fully immersed herself in the role. As soon as filming wrapped, she returned to being cheerful and approachable.
The actor further revealed that Bai Lu was supportive and caring toward her colleagues throughout production.
Her positive attitude helped create a comfortable working environment and strengthened the cast’s chemistry on set. (Overseasidol.com)
