Overseasidol.com — The upcoming Thai-Korean drama Wooju Bakery is currently at the center of a growing controversy following disputes between its production team and related parties ahead of its scheduled release.

The issue began after the official release date announcement, which was met with opposition from the management of one of the involved artists.

Lead production company Habitus Company has strongly denied allegations raised by Jeff Satur management, On Saturn Studio.

In an official statement, Habitus clarified that all artist fees have been fully paid through the appropriate agencies, supported by verified financial records.

The company further emphasized that it has legally secured the distribution rights to the drama through a valid contractual process.

It also stated that communication with the artists’ representatives has been ongoing, rejecting claims that the release was pushed forward without prior agreement.

Meanwhile, co-production company Cinema Upright explained that its role was limited to post-production and that payment-related matters fall outside its responsibility.

The company expressed full support for Habitus and urged all inquiries to be directed to the lead producer.

As the dispute escalates, streaming platform GagaOOLala announced that the premiere of “Wooju Bakery” has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

The delay has disappointed fans who had been eagerly anticipating the series.

The situation intensified after the management of Jeff Satur publicly stated their refusal to support the release and indicated the possibility of pursuing legal action.

This development has sparked widespread discussion among fans regarding transparency and production processes.

As of now, a new release date for “Wooju Bakery” has not been confirmed.

The production team has stated that they are working to resolve the issue to ensure the drama can be released under the best possible conditions.
