Overseasidol.com — Chinese singer and actress Wu Xuanyi officially announced the establishment of her personal studio on May 14.
The new studio, named “Wuxuanyi Quanyao Studio”, introduced itself online as the official studio for actress Wu Xuanyi.
Shortly after the announcement, Xuanyi followed the studio’s social media account herself, drawing immediate attention from fans.
Another notable change was made to her personal Weibo profile, where her verification status was updated to simply “actress and singer” removing the previous “Yuehua Entertainment artist” label.
The move quickly fueled public speculation regarding her relationship with Yuehua Entertainment.
Reports had previously suggested that Wu Xuanyi was involved in a contract dispute with the company, with Yuehua allegedly refusing to terminate the agreement due to an automatic renewal clause.
With the launch of her own studio and the updated profile information, many fans believe the contract dispute may have already been resolved privately.
Although no official statement has been released regarding the matter, the new development is widely seen as a sign that Wu Xuanyi is entering a more independent phase in her career.
