Overseasidol.com — Chinese actress Bai Lu has recently drawn public attention after filing multiple lawsuits related to personality rights and defamation disputes.
According to legal records, several individuals have been named as defendants in cases initiated by the actress, whose real name is Bai Mengyan.
In one notable ruling issued in April 2026, a defendant surnamed Ma was found liable by the court.
The ruling required the defendant to issue a public apology and pay a total of 10,000 yuan in compensation, covering emotional damages and legal expenses.
However, reports indicate that the defendant has yet to fulfill the obligation to publicly apologize, despite the ruling having taken legal effect.
In response, Bai Lu has applied for compulsory enforcement through the court.
Earlier cases also show progress, with two individuals surnamed Xie and Kang issuing public apologies in January 2026.
Meanwhile, another lawsuit filed in December 2025 against a defendant surnamed Hua has already been heard at the Dongyang People’s Court.
