She clarified that she is not married and does not have children. The actress stated she is still in a phase of life focused on her original family.

In May, actor Yu Haoming posted a picture of a diamond ring with the caption, “Chen, I want to put this ring on your ring finger,”.
Many interpreted the post as a marriage proposal or an announcement.
Wang Xiaochen and Yu Haoming have been seen together on many occasions. They reportedly met each other’s families in 2024.
The couple was also seen vacationing together in Austria in August 2025. More recently, on September 17, they were spotted holding hands, suggesting a close relationship.
Despite these public sightings, Wang Xiaochen clarified that she is still learning about what a family and children mean through her role in her new drama series.
